Supplies of Homes for Sale in Gainesville, Flowery Branch, Hall County GA are Shrinking!

In 2011, 1,665 single family houses sold in Hall County.  Today, there are 1,086 houses on the market for sale.  This equals a 7.8 month supply of houses to meet our current demand.

Let's funnel down to a couple of specifics:
1.  In 2011, 1,457 houses sold in Hall County that were listed for $300,000 or less.  Today, there are 787 houses listed for sale in Hall County for $300,000 or less.  This equals a supply of 6.5 months.

2.  In 2011, 10 houses sold in Gainesville's Longstreet Hills neighborhood.  Today, there are 4 houses listed for sale in Longstreet Hills.  This equals a 4.8 month supply.

 A healthy supply of houses on a market is said to be 7 to 8 months.  When supplies shrink, prices stabilize and then go up.  Our largest supply line, traditionally, has been new construction.  We do not expect new houses to show up any time soon.  For real estate advice and counsel use an expert.  If you would like an analysis for your area, contact us anytime.

Hall County Sells 32% More in 2011 than 2 Years Ago, Leading the Entire Region

The real estate market in Hall County continues its very strong recovery, leading the region in the number of sales gains! 18.4 % more homes were sold in Hall County in 2011 versus 2010. This very dynamic chart shows the percentage gain in the number of homes sold in 2011 versus two years ago in 2009.

Hall and Forsyth Counties are soaring above their neighbors. We are very blessed to live where we do. Things are getting better.
